This is the one picture I had planned and wanted so much to do for our little Valentine's Day shoot that I suggested to Kiks ~kiksology a few weeks ago. I had wanted a theme that would kind of trigger some nostalgia and suggested we dress up the way we used to back in high school, when we first met.

<sub>In high school, I was a crazy, angry little girl who listened to rock music, dressed up in dark colors and whose favorite shirt was her black Mudvayne t-shirt, refused to wear any footwear other than Converse Chuck Taylors that weren't matched, and had not much care for boys.

Kiks, on the other hand, was this little boy who liked to wear Hawaiian-print clothes and board shorts from Billabong along with a pair of slippers, listened to oldies music, loved to dance, read and collected Love Hina, and whose favorite color was orange.

We were, as you may have thought, the most unlikely couple in the world back then.

It was a pretty weird start, but I guess it wouldn't have been better any other way. (:</sub>

So with that story, I guess you can pretty much guess why everything in the photo/s are the way they are. We like to think of ourselves "childhood sweethearts" since we consider our high school days part of our childhood, since we were children-at-heart.
